French President Nicolas Sarkozy has urged Turkey to recognize the 1915 massacre of Armenians by Ottoman Turks as genocide. Sarkozy told Friday's news conference in the Armenian capital that Turkey's refusal to do so would force France to change its law and make such denial a criminal offense.
